Meet sweet little Genevieve! She was so sweet and so easy to photograph. Just content the whole time. I had such a great time cuddling her and hanging out with first time mommy and Daddy.
She was the seriously the sweetest! We also did some fun Christmas themed pictures for their announcement since she was born so close to the holidays. Also, how sweet is her name! Genevieve, it reminds me of King Arthur and just seems so romantic and adventurous :)
I can't believe it's my baby girl's first Christmas already! I was so excited to pick out matching Christmas dresses for the two of us. Mine is all gold and hers is this adorable white and gold. She has matching shoes and bow too. I definitely went all out :)
My good friend Nicole and I had way too much fun getting these matching Christmas outfits for the girls and planning this little mini session :)
Sweet little Ally is 9 months old. Mom wanted to do her Monthly pictures in her Christmas outfit and she looks adorable as usually :) She had a lot of fun playing with the ornaments. She is getting harder and harder to photograph now that she is on the move and crawling. We do a lot of picking up and re-positioning but we still managed some smiles.
I'm in love with this tutu. It's more like a petty skirt its so full and springy. Surprisingly she wasn't too interested in the lights in front of her. She did try grabbing the ones behind the backdrop a few times though. We took some of her and Jaye together in matching outfits. I'll post those with Jaye's Christmas session.
Saundra and Colter's matching Christmas Jammies were so cute! They cuddled up on the cozy couch and read 'Twas the Night before Chrsitmas' while I snapped away. Colter loves to read and is one of the smartest 2 year olds I have ever met.
He went and saw Santa this year and asked for a Jack in the Box and a Blue Car. I know he was pretty excited Christmas morning when Santa delivered! He really liked admiring the lights on the Christmas trees during our session. Mom was really excited to show off her Baby bump. They are very excited to be welcoming baby #2 in the New year :)
My second Christmas Mini session was this adorable family. They were so nice and the session went so smoothly. Their little guy, Baby Luke, is 5 months old and seriously adorable. It's his first Christmas so we did some special photos just for him.
This little man had some great facial expressions and even cracked a few smiles. Mom and Dad had a request to do a picture in his white onsie so we could capture all his great baby rolls! Probably my second favorite thing with babies are their chunky little arm and leg rolls. The first being baby toes :) You can tell how loved this little guy is by Mom and Dad. It was great meeting and capturing this wonderful family.
Kiera and Kensley were the first of my Christmas mini sessions this past weekend. It was perfect day for pictures, absolutely beautiful outside. These sweet little girls were so much fun to hang out with. Kiera loves fluffy kitties. That was the only way we could get her to smile by asking her if there were any fluffy kitties in the book she was reading "The Night before Christmas". She has such a beautiful smile just like her Mom. I did Kensley's newborn pictures this past summer. I love getting to watch my clients grow and capturing those little moments.
I adored their matching outfits! Kiera really loves her baby sister too :) I had so much fun editing this session. What would Christmas be without a little sparkle and whimsy. These two will be thick as thieves one day soon and then Mom and Dad will really be in trouble. The session was just for the girls but I snuck a quick one of mom with the girls anyway.
I still have a few spots available for this coming weekend
December 11th, 12th, & 13th. Email me to reserve your spot!

So I'm gonna be honest... I got a little teary eyed when I realized that she only has 2 more stickers left for pictures and that means only 2 months until she is a 1 year old! My tiny baby girl has 4 teeth and is crawling, standing, and babbling like crazy. She is almost a toddler and it is a little bit bitter sweet. I am so excited for the next stages as they are some of my favorites but if time could slow down a little bit so that my heart could catch up that would be great :)
I was really excited that I found 1 of her mint bows that I thought was lost forever. Also, more clothing stores need to make little girl leggings with little skirts attached like these. The only place I have been able to find them has been Walmart and they are hit or miss with having her size or a color/pattern that I like. Although she is on the move she isn't walking just yet. CJ just started walking at 10 months and was running at 11 months. I'm ok with her being a little behind in that department. She's easier to contain that way.
We are planning on doing her first birthday while we are home in Wisconsin over Christmas. It will be 1 month early but this way all of our friends and family will be able to attend and see the birthday girl. I didn't do a lot of decorating or go really crazy for CJ's 1 st birthday party because we had just moved into our new house and it we did a pool party. So I am excited to do a little more for this and make it nice and girly :)
Crawling all over the place and pulling herself up. Look out world, little Miss Allyson is on the move. Dressed up in an uber adorable tutu for her 8 month photo shoot she was much happier this month. She even showed off some of those new pearly whites :D
She is definitely Mommy and Daddy's little princess. Look at this tutu! Seriously so cute. Also, she has the biggest prettiest brown eyes.
I got to meet another sweet baby while I was visiting Wisconsin. Meet little Miss Evelyn. She has some of the best baby hair I have seen! Beautiful brown locks. Her Mom, Krystal, and I served in the Army National Guard together. So we spent the first half of the session catching up since we hadn't seen each other in quite some time. I was so excited to catch up that we used up all of Evelyn's sleepy time! But we worked with it, while our boys destroyed a package of fruit snacks :)
We both had boys as our first child and they are only a month or so apart in age. Our Daughters are a little further apart in age but it's great to have another Mom who you can talk to as your children go through the same growing pains. It truly takes a village even if that village is just late night texts :)
Welcome to the world Miss Evelyn... Congratulations Krystal and Chad she is beautiful! I still can't get over all that beautiful hair!!
Crawling last month to pulling herself to a stand this month, this little girl is bound and determined to be able to chase after her brother. I will not be surprised if she is walking by her first birthday. She has always been a happy girl but now that she can move around and explore her environment she is having a blast.
I was a little bummed I lost her mint/teal headband I have been using for her pictures :( I think the hubby may have accidentally thrown them away. So we filled in with this adorable purple-ish princess headband to go with her skirt this month. I still can't believe we almost have a walker on our hands. Once she can chase CJ we will really have our hands full! We are also very excited to have my Mom and three brothers come down to Tennessee for her first Thanksgiving.
I'm Samantha, photographer, self proclaimed DIY-er, and stay-at-home Mom to my two amazing littles CJ & Jaye, and wife to my handsome and fun loving husband Chase.
