Happy Halloween Ya'll! This is my favorite holiday ever since I was a child. My family made a really big deal about going trick or treating together with my cousins growing up and we always had a blast. My Mom always made picking out a pumpkin to carve a special occasion and we went to the same pumpkin stand every year. Since we moved here to Tennessee and started our family we've been working on our own traditions. The first two years we were here we did Trick or Treat in a Cave and the Cherokee Caverns, which was really neat! The caverns are dark and lit with Halloween lights and Jack-o-Lanterns, its the perfect location for trick or treat fun.
This year we had new friends to celebrate and hang out with on Halloween. We all went as the Flintstones and had a great time. Our girls are only 5 weeks apart so we carved pumpkins especially for them to take pictures in :) I know everyone has seen the baby in a pumpkin picture a million times because of Pinterest but, I love it so I had to :) I think you will agree the result was adorable. Hope you all had a Happy Halloween with your little ones!
This little sweetie is getting so big and rolling all over the place! She wants so badly to crawl and move around and explore but for now rolling is easiest. I know mommy is happy she can't get into everything just yet! :) She looks so adorable in mommy's necklace and her pink lacy diaper cover.
Mom forgot her belly sticker so we borrowed one of Jaye's. She wasn't in too much of a smiling mood but those eyes of hers get me every time!
I have been searching for an antique couch to use for family session and I finally found one that wasn't insanely expensive and had the 'look' I wanted! I was so excited to use it for this session with the Panitzke's. I think the result with the antique windows is perfect :)
These kiddos are too adorable for words. I love how well coordinated everyone's outfits were for the session. Grant, Levi, and Audrey had a lot of fun playing with CJ while we did pictures of just Mom and Dad. CJ was so sad when the session was over and they had to leave. One of my favorites from this session is the one with Mom and Dad kissing and the kids peeping through the windows. I love the expression on Audrey's face. Priceless...
My little peanut is on the move. That's right... she is crawling! I can't believe it. Of course she is in to everything. Her favorite thing to do is follow her brother around. He of course thinks that she is a little puppy dog that he can play with how he pleases. Like trying to pick her up or trying to get her to follow him to his room to play. She only goes if she wants to so he gets a little disappointed. Those two are going to be inseparable one day.... or not want to touch each other with a ten foot pole... I'm hoping for the first :)
She is such a silly girl and loves to giggle and laugh especially at CJ. They get into giggle fits with each other just laughing for no reason. She's also working on some teeth so she is always chewing on her fingers. I can't believe how big she is getting. I remember getting those little purple sweat pants she's wearing and thinking they would never fit her and now they are almost too small!
This cutie is 6 months old and a busy busy girl! She is getting her first tooth. Which has not been fun for Mom and Dad or her for that matter. Teething is seriously the worst. You just feel so helpless because there really isn't much to do for it and it has to happen. But, even though she's a little cranky from teething she still flashed us some smiles for pictures.
She is also sitting up all on her on now and is starting to roll around a lot more too. She will talk your ear off too with all her babbling. She also loves to sit and watch football with Dad and is a big fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and also loves her Green Bay Packers!
