Meet little Miss Kensley. She is too adorable for words. She had a little bit of a rough entrance into this world and had to spend a week in the NICU. But she was just preparing her parents and letting them know that she's a Princess and they do things their own way. She is a sweet healthy peanut now though and is starting to get the hang of the whole sleep thing, atleast during the day.
Growing up I was a bit of a tomboy and I really didn't care for the color pink or wearing tutus. My Mom has told me multiple times how she would buy me cute dresses and I would throw a fit and not wear them. Let me tell you, having a little girl of my own has totally changed all that! Tutus and crowns and pink and purple everything :D I was so excited to use all that with Kensley.
Have I told ya'll how much I am obessed with tiny ity bity little baby feet! Gah! Also, the beautiful blanket in all her photos was handmade by a friend with her initials on it. I couldn't believe it! I love being able to incoperate personal pieces into the pictures. I feel like it really makes them extra special.
She wasn't too interested in sleeping at the begining of our session but she gave in after some rocking and a full belly. Utter sweetness ensued.
Check out that pouty lip! I loved it too much to move her hand. I'm in love with my DIY branch newborn bed that a friend helped me make. My husband thought I was crazy screwing together a bunch of sticks from our wood pile but I think it turned out fantastic. When I told him people are selling them on Etsy for $60.00 or more he changed his tune pretty fast :). Hope you all enjoyed this beautiful little girl as much as I did. You can check out her full gallery here.
